One-Hundred Sixty-Seven

15 minutes.

I'm not shirking with these quick sketches, by the way. I'm trying to break an image down to its most basic components and represent as much of that as I can in a small amount of time. I suppose you could raise the argument that I ought now have time for two drawings every day, but... um, don't. Don't raise that argument. That's the kind of thinking that doesn't do anybody any good.

For the record, I'd like to apologize to anyone who shows up in these sketches if I make your face look lumpy or whatever.

One-Hundred Sixty-One

I made a little movie today instead.

One-Hundred Sixty

Early bedtime tonight, so only 20 minutes for this one.

One-Hundred Fifty-Nine

This is my grandmother. Took about 90 minutes (it's hard to stop at 30).

One-Hundred Fifty-Seven

Another 30-minute study from a photograph. I think I'm going to keep doing these for a while; they're a great way to get practice in with lighting and value.
