Two Hundred Sixty-Two

Lately I've been listening to an album called Moon Colony Bloodbath. It's a collaborative work between the Mountain Goats and John Vanderslice which tells the tale of a man employed by a secret organ harvesting operation on the moon and his descent into madness. My last three entries here have been based off the songs from this album, and there'll be three more coming up. Here we see Bobby Beausoleil out in the desert past the LA County line, burying a canister in the middle of the night.

That album sounds like it's a cross between goth rock and progressive. And great concept for an album too... Embedding stories on a rock album is very rare nowadays.
